Other makeover party establishments don’t allow time in their parties for presents, cake, or most importantly FUN!
What does the party consist of?Our “Girlfriend Party Package” includes a hair-do, make-up, nail polish, karaoke, a red carpet walk, costumes, games, and a dance. Each party guest will receive an accessory, to complete their look, (options are a tiara, rock star headset, or hair piece). At the end of the party the birthday girl may choose a gift from the “birthday treasure box” and her guests may choose something from the “guest treasure box”. The cost is $25. per girl. We are also offering a “Cover Shots Package” which is with our friends next door at Clix Portrait Studios. The Cover Shots Package includes, a hair-do, make-up, nail polish, an accessory, costumes, karaoke, a red carpet walk, and a pick from the Treasure Box- all at Girlfriendz. They will also go next door to Clix for an individual picture, (which each guest gets to keep), and a group picture, (which the birthday girl gets to keep along with her individual picture). This package is $35. per girl. How long do the parties last? The parties are 1 hour 15 minutes to two hours, depending on the number of girls. Under 8 girls is between one hour and fifteen minutes, to one and a half hours. Eight or more girls is between one and a half hours to two hours.
Where are the parties located?The parties are right here in the store. We have a stage for karaoke, dancing and games. We have a makeover table for hair, make-up and nails, and of course our red carpet right down the middle of the store for our red carpet event.
Can we bring food to the party?
Girlfriendz prides itself on being a one-stop shop for your birthday party needs. We are proud to now offer beautiful and delicious “cupcake favors." For only $5. a girl we will supply an individually boxed cupcake with a sparkling lip gloss on top for each child.
We will also have a separate cupcake beautifully displayed in a cake stand for the festive “Happy Birthday Song” and of course to blow out the candles. If you would rather bring your own cupcakes you are welcome to do so, and we have a “cupcake tower”, which you may use, for the festivities. Any food or drinks eaten on the premises are confined to “the picnic area”, so as to avoid damage to the boutique merchandise.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of girls for the parties?We have a five girl minimum on Saturdays, any number is ok any other day. We have no maximum for the parties- if we have to we will shut down the store!
What if the number of guests we reserved for changes?We staff a certain number of employees based on the number of girls you are bringing, so we ask that if the number changes you notify us with at least a 24 hour notice. If your number significantly decreases, and you do not advise us of the change, you will be charged for the original number of girls.
How do I make a party reservation?We can reserve your party time right over the phone! We require a fifty dollar deposit, which we can take over the phone with a Visa or Mastercard. The deposit is then applied toward your party balance. If for some reason you must cancel your party the deposit will be given back to you in the form of store credit.
